You have clear requirements, a specification, or a roadmap. I can implement the work, lead your engineering team, or do both.
I can take on a defined piece of software, join your engineers to deliver a larger system, or lead implementation across a team. That includes architecture, hands-on development, code review, and technical decisions along the way. We review your existing plans, agree on responsibilities and deliverables, and work within your team's tools and processes.
Would AI actually help here?
An idea, some data, or a business problem. I assess what is feasible, what it would cost, and whether AI is the right tool at all.
I assess the intended outcome, available data, models, hardware, architecture, and risks. Paid discovery establishes the work, its difficulty, an estimate of hours, and the deliverables. Sometimes the useful result is a specification or a different approach.
It works, but it needs to work better.
Slow inference, unreliable models, difficult data, cloud bills, or a system that keeps breaking between layers. I investigate the cause and implement the fix.
I build and improve software, data pipelines, model evaluation, and infrastructure. That can mean a focused implementation, deployment and CI/CD, GPU bottlenecks, or architecture spanning several teams. I can work independently, join your engineers, or lead the work.
We need something unusual built or investigated.
A research result to implement, an unfamiliar domain, an unusual model or hardware constraint. This is work I enjoy.
Computer vision, scientific computing, multimodal learning, GPU/NPU work, edge inference, and interoperability are all within reach. We agree on the question and what would count as a useful result. A prototype or an experiment can establish feasibility without committing you to a full product.
Our team needs to understand and use this.
Practical training shaped around your team and its work, including AI fundamentals, LLMs for software engineering, and safe use of AI tools.
The topic, audience, and depth determine the preparation. Material preparation and live delivery are quoted separately, with online or in-person arrangements agreed beforehand. Training starts at €30/hour, excluding applicable VAT.
How we start
The first 15 minutes are free. Tell me what you are doing, why you need help, and what you would like to achieve. I use that conversation to establish whether I can help and whether the work falls within my expertise.
If you already have clear requirements, we review them together, agree on my role, and plan the implementation. I can build it myself, work alongside your engineers, or lead the team delivering it. We agree on the scope, responsibilities, and rate before paid work begins.
Where the work needs investigation first, paid discovery establishes what needs doing, the difficulty and available resources, and an estimate of hours and deliverables. The result may be an implementation plan, a specification, or a recommendation to take a different approach.
Rates
My hourly rate ranges from €30 to €150, excluding applicable VAT. It depends on scope, responsibility, engagement length, specialist research, and your budget. I am flexible; a focused piece of work and responsibility for infrastructure across several teams are different engagements.

Working together
I am available for up to 80 hours a month, with an immediate start possible. I prefer remote work and can visit when needed. I speak fluent English, Czech, and Slovak, and work from Slovakia.
Consulting, contract work, advisory engagements, research collaborations, and fractional technical leadership are all welcome. I am also open to an exceptional full-time opportunity.
